Those who know me know that I am not a fan of pink. I consider myself girlie ( with a dash of tom boy). As girlie as I am I really do not like pink. With that being said. I saw these pink pumps when I went to visit the Justfab/Shoedazzle headquarters back in June. As soon as I saw them I fell in love. The funny thing is, these shoes are the pinkist of pink, there is no hiding it. I still am not a huge fan of pink but I am a huge fan of these shoes.
Look at how I styled them
Top: This top is super old, I can not remember where it was purchased from.
Ok guys, this is my last installment of how to wear one item 3 different ways. The reason i decided to do this was because I have heard many time that people wish they had a decent wardrobe. I told them most people, you have to work with you have especially if your budget does not allow to shop for non necessities often. I let them know that there is nothing wrong with repeating an item, you can change it up with styling it different when you repeat it.
one of my sayings when it comes to fashion is, you can extend your wardrobe by going right in your closet. Don’t try to keep up with the Joneses, everything we see on the internet is not everyone reality. You can still love and rock fashion on a budget.
My outfit minus the bag and shoes is under $150Hat: here $35
Pants: here $39
Shoes: here $42 ( if you’re a VIP member)
Now I am not a sneaker person but lets be honest, sometimes our feet need a rest and there are those times when a cute pair of sneakers come out and you have to have them. For this look I decided to dress down the cargos from the last post, I wanted to be as simple as possible but still put together. This is what I came up with.
I took a simple with tank
Sometimes, having the right pair of pants can create many options. This blog post will be apart of a short series on how to expand tour wardrobe. I am a firm believer in making what you have word for you. Many people live on a tight budget but still enjoy fashion. Sometimes one can get caught up in todays social media hype and not realize that they have so many items in their closet that they can restyle. Some people are afraid to “repeat” an outfit that has been photographed, I’ve never understood that concept, I know for me, if i really like an item I am going to wear it out.
I started off this series with my favorite look:
