High Heels, Big Hair

While Spring is here, it is not as warm as I would like. The plus about this is, I get to rock some of my favorite jackets. On this day I decided to throw on one of my vintage thrift trenches. I threw on a tee and some jeans and called it a Spring day.

Spring Has Sprung

FINALLY, it seems spring has decided to show it’s face and I couldn’t be happier. We have had some peek days and then BAM the cold would resurface but it seems that Spring may be here to stay. So what is a girl to do when the weather breaks and it is beautiful out?

Dress Up!

On this day I decided to show some legs but didn’t want to overdo it since it is only spring. Spring in NYC is exactly that. I knew I would be out until the evening so I threw on some layers. Ive never worn these shoes and I was determined to let my feet get some air so I threw them on. I will say this. These shoes are cute and I will wear them again but they are not the best for walking around NYC. they are good for the car and short distances. I received tons of compliments on them so they are definitely a show stopper, as long as the show is close by.

Feeling Blue

I am absolutely obsessed with Denim, it is one of those items you can dress up and/or down. This day I decided to pair one of my favorite denim pencil skirts with a vintage blue top that I’ve been dying to wear but never got the opportunity. There are 3 thing i LOVE in fashion ( ok there are way more but these are some of my top things), pockets  on tops and dresses, exposed zippers and belts. Belts can bring an outfit together, on this day I decided to use a belt to marry the top and bottom. I paired it with some simple blue pumps. I am not  a monochromatic lover but I figured I would give it a chance.

Restyle

Often times we have “nothing to wear”. Social Media has people thinking that it is a “crime” to wear something more than once. Well, I don’t know about you guys but I don’t like wasting money, and I happen to really like most of my clothing, enough to wear them more than once. On this day  I was going on a movie date and wanted to be comfortable but did not want to wear jeans. I decided to pair a skirt I recently wore with a top from a 2 pice set I recently wore. I topped it off with a vintage thrift trench coat and some floral pumps. All and all I enjoyed how the look came together.IMG_3843

This is how I wore both pieces the first time.
